If you’re familiar with Patrick Dexter, chances are you know his best dog friend, Nisha. Now paying tribute to her in song, Patrick is set to release 'Nisha', his final single before Solace debuts. Like the rest of the album, ‘Nisha’ was recorded live. However, unlike the other pieces on Solace (which are previously written by Patrick or traditional melodies), this tune is based on an improvisation. As such, the track has never been played the way it can be heard on the album, and will likely never be played exactly that way again. “It is a musical snapshot of that day we recorded, an expression of how I felt for my furry companion as she puttered around the garden,” says Patrick.
